Active Employees

Option #1

Federal employees who are deaf and/or hard of hearing can request for a Federal CapTel phone through Computer/Electronic Accommodations Program (CAP). For a listing of DOD and Civilian partnering agencies, visit the CAP website.

If your agency is a CAP partner, submit a request online for a Federal CapTel phone. If you have any questions about CAP, inquire with Jeffrey Dallos

Option #2

Federal employees whose agency does not qualify for CAP (above), will need to order their Federal Captel 840 or 840i device directly from WCI. 

The Federal CapTel 840 and 840i devices can be purchased for $75. Please see the order forms at the top of this page. 

Veterans

Option #1

Veterans may be eligible to receive a CapTel phone at no charge through the Federal Relay program. Please contact us at federalrelay@sprint.com to inquire about this proces. 

Option #2

All veterans can apply for a CapTel phone through their State programs. For further details, click availability. (Will incur domestic toll charges)

Retirees

All Federal government retirees can apply for a CapTel phone through their State programs. For further details, click availability.

Tribal Members

All tribal members can apply for a CapTel phone through their State programs. For further details, click availability.
