All performance under Federal Relay IDIQ GS00Q13NSD3000 ended on 2/13/22.

Agencies may now access services through:

  • Telecommunications Relay Service (TRS) funded by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and respective 7-1-1/State relay programs
  • General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule (MAS)

Accessing Relay Services in My Organization

Contact the agency Relay Official for more information about accessing relay services within your organization. Additional information and a list of ROs can be found at GSA’s website www.gsa.gov/fedrelay.

If you do not see a Relay Official listed for your agency, or you have any other questions, contact the GSA FedRelay Program office at federalrelayservices@gsa.gov.

Relay Conference Captioning (RCC)

What's Changing:

Effective February 14, 2022, Federal Relay Conference Captioning will no longer be available via the Federal Relay Contract #GS00Q13NSD3000.

What's Next:

Agencies can procure captioning services via GSA’s Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) 541930 – Language Services.

Internet Protocol (IP) Relay

What's Changing:

Effective February 14, 2022, Federal IP Relay will no longer be available via the Federal Relay Contract #GS00Q13NSD3000.

To ensure no interruptions to services, accounts can be migrated to the Sprint (branded T-Mobile) IP Relay service. This service is very similar to Federal IP Relay but is funded through the Interstate Telecommunications Relay Service (TRS) Fund which is administered by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) at no cost to users or their designated federal agency.

What's Next:

Individuals with a Federal IP 10-digit telephone number, received an email with the option to transfer their number to Sprint IP Relay.

If no response was received, the Federal IP Relay 10-digit telephone number was deactivated.

Effective February 14, 2022, Federal IP CapTel service was discontinued.

Effective February 14, 2022, Analog CapTel service was seamlessly transitioned to State Relay CapTel Programs.

What's Next:

Sign up for FCC’s IP CapTel program with a provider of your choice. A list of IP CapTel (IP CTS) Providers can be accessed at www.fcc.gov/ipcts-providers.

Effective February 14, 2022, Federal Speech to Speech will no longer be available, and the dedicated Federal STS toll-free number will be discontinued.

Users can access their state’s telecommunications relay service (TRS) to make STS calls by dialing 7-1-1.
